Help:

To search for a plate code, please enter the code in capital letters (1 to 3 characters), in all other cases a search for (parts of) city names is performed.

The search engine only provides association of license plate codes to city names (e.g. DO = Dortmund), but not the identification of individual license plates (e.g. DO-TO 42 = Thomas Omerzu).

Searching for historical license plate codes is currently not implemented.
